The City Council of San Miguel de Abona has definitively received the entire Golf del Sur urbanization, on the coast of the municipality, after signing an agreement with the communities, which establishes the conditions of this procedure, which in practice gives the Consistory the green light to expand the services that it had been providing in the area and that until now were limited to public lighting and waste collection.

Gonzalez recalled that The City Council could not intervene in the infrastructures that the residents were demanding and announced, among other priorities, improvements in the treatment plant. The mayor of San Miguel stressed that “from now on we must continue working,” but insisted that “achievements like these deserve a full mandate.”
