SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 26. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Government, through an Agreement of the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs and an Order of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, has approved the granting of regional incentives to a total of 45 projects in ten autonomous communities, including the Canary Islands .
The overall amount of the grants awarded is 89.6 million euros and will make it possible to mobilize a total investment of 504.5 million euros. These projects will manage to maintain 4,798 jobs and create another 931 new jobs.
In the specific case of the Canary Islands, according to the Ministerial Order published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), there are ten projects, whose investment amounts to 61,281,852 euros and where subsidies will be awarded for 15,644,447.44 euros. Thanks to these projects, 149 new jobs will be created and another 940 jobs will be maintained.
The first corresponds to the company Promotora Hotelera Canaria SL, whose project located in the municipality of Adeje (Tenerife), will receive a subsidy of 3,742,259.5 euros and will allow the mobilization of 14,969,038 euros.
Along with this, the project of Las Coronas de Teguise SL, located in the town of Teguise (Lanzarote), will be endowed with a subsidy of 1,910,574.72 euros and will mobilize 11,941,092 euros.
The list continues with the Hotel New Trend SL project, located in the municipality of Yaiza (Lanzarote), which will receive a grant of 3,440,914.2 euros, which will help mobilize 11,469,714 euros.
Another of the beneficiaries is Servatur SA, which with a project in the town of Mogán (Gran Canaria) will obtain a grant of 1,469,166.6 euros that will help mobilize 6,678,030 euros.
Added to the above are Hotel Atlantic Hills, SL, which has a project in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) for which it will access a grant of 1,624,634.4 euros that will promote a total investment of 5,415,448 euros.
The firm Ashtavinayaka SL will also have resources for its project in San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), which will translate into a grant of 1,447,110 euros that will serve to mobilize resources for 4,019,750 euros.
Another Príncipe Grand Hotel SL project, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will have a grant of 1,078,283.64 euros for a total mobilization of 3,851,013 euros.
In the town of Agüimes (Gran Canaria) another beneficiary project of the company Alcruz Canarias SL is located, subsidized with 203,823.68 euros and which will mobilize 1,273,898 euros.
The remaining projects that will have this support are, on the one hand, that of Welysis Industries SL in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with a grant of 395,839.92 euros and a total mobilization of 942,476 euros.
Finally, Noodlebox Manufacturing SL will access a grant of 331,840.78 euros for its project in San Miguel de Abona (Tenerife), for which a total of 721,393 euros will be mobilized.
These aids contribute to inter-territorial economic balance and inclusive and sustainable economic growth by financing productive investment projects, job creators, technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable, promoting economic activity in regions with a lower level of development and contributing to closing the gap in terms of per capita income with the rest of the regions, not only in Spain but also in the EU.
