José Ángel Martín has resigned from all his posts after the arrest for alleged assault this Wednesday afternoon during a visit to the soccer field of El Tablero, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
This has been reported by the candidate of the PSOE to the Mayor of the capital in the next municipal elections, Patricia Hernández, who admitted that the behavior of her number two on the list requires immediate action on the part of the socialist formation. “His behavior has not been exemplary”asserted the former mayor who insists that “acronyms are above people.”
Hernández, who has appeared before the media to account for this fact during the electoral campaign, explains that from the PSOE they have not been able to speak with Martínwho is still detained at police stations, but they have been detained with the lawyer who represents him.
Martín was arrested yesterday in El Tablero after an altercation with one of those responsible for the sports facility, which resulted in the man being admitted to a hospital with leg fractures.
