Núñez Feijóo’s visit to Tenerife suspended, but tomorrow he will be in Gran Canaria

The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, had planned to participate in a campaign event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife this Sunday, May 21, together with the candidate for the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Dominguez, and the candidate for Mayor of the Tenerife capital, Carlos Tarife. However, Due to problems in the air links scheduled for his arrival on the island, the act will not be able to take place, as reported by the party itself.

The Popular Party has informed that the inconveniences in the air links have made it impossible for Feijóo to be present at the event scheduled for 8:30 p.m. outside the Castillo de San Juan, in the capital of Tenerife. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond his control have forced the cancellation of the event.

The regular flight that was taking me from Valencia to Tenerife has been cancelled, and unfortunately I cannot make it to the meeting we had this afternoon.

Don’t go on Falcon has these things.

Tomorrow I will be on the island in the morning and in Las Palmas at noon. a hug to @ppdecanarias.

— Alberto Núñez Feijóo (@NunezFeijoo) May 21, 2023

However, it has been confirmed that On Monday Feijóo will travel to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to participate in another campaign event together with Manuel Domínguez and the popular candidate for the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, Jimena Delgado. It is hoped that this visit will continue to strengthen the ties of the Popular Party with the citizens of the Canary Islands and provide the opportunity to address the important issues of the electoral campaign.

The Partido Popular team regrets the inconvenience caused by the problems in the air links and thanks the attendees and supporters of the canceled event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for their understanding.
