SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 21. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has had to call off the meeting scheduled for this afternoon at 8:30 p.m. in Santa Cruz de Tenerife due to the cancellation of the flight, sources from the formation have informed Europa Press.

They have added that, however, the schedule scheduled for this Monday on the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria is maintained for the moment, although they do not rule out that there may be some variation.

The leader of the ‘populares’ had planned to attend the campaign event this Sunday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife this afternoon – after finishing another act that he has had in the Valencia bullring – with the candidate for the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Domínguez, and the candidate for mayor of the town, Carlos Tarife, outside the Castillo de San Juan in the capital of Tenerife.

Likewise, according to Feijóo’s agenda, tomorrow Monday he plans to travel to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to attend another campaign event at 12:00 p.m. (Canary Islands time) together with Manuel Domínguez and the popular candidate for the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council , Jimena Delgado, in the Plaza de Los Jardines del Atlántico, next to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in the capital.
