The spokesman for VisocanSantiago Negrín confirmed today that the public housing company has finally acquired the Aloe I building in El Fraile and this was communicated to the Arona Housing Councilor, Julia Morales, who will be in charge of transferring the information to the neighbors who were subject to eviction after paying rent as VP0 and the property being acquired by a vulture fund and later by the BBVA.
The purchase has been possible thanks to the three million euros that the City Council paid Visocan a year ago for a ruling from previous mandates.
The ten families that are considered vulnerable by Social Services of the City Council will be able to continue residing in Aloe I and put an end to the intention of chaining themselves this Monday at the doors of Visocan.
