With the signing of the reconsideration act, the works of the future Beekeeping Room in Valle de Arriba have begun, which have a completion period of 13 months and a budget of €39,746.82.
The new work of a new volume of 1 floor on top is projected, with a rectangular, almost square shape, with an open layout inside and topped with a non-passable flat roof terraced with gravel.
The new Beekeeping Room will allow beekeepers in the area to have a space for the extraction of honey, without having to travel to other municipalities for this purpose. In this way, the reactivation of the beekeeping sector in Santiago del Teide would be encouraged at the same time that the activities included in the primary sector would be revalued.
The Beekeeping Room would also become part of the Valle de Arriba Multifunctional Center as an independent and integral element, which will contribute to increasing the plurality of said center and the activities carried out in it.
