They insult a woman in Santa Cruz for wearing a veil

This Tuesday, May 9, on a popular terrace of a cafeteria in the center of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a xenophobic incident. A client started to insult very seriously to another woman who was wearing a veil or hijabwhich provoked the reaction of other customers of the business who reproached the aggressor and called the Police.

The incident was recorded on video and later uploaded to social networks, where it has been described as a “racist attack”.

In the images you can see the woman uttering insults and xenophobic expressions towards the other client. The other customers in the cafeteria tried to calm her down, while some recorded her on video. Some people sympathized with the victim and called the Police, while others limited themselves to recording the scene just in case. The situation was tense and unpleasant for everyone present.

The incident became a hate crime due to the aggressive and violent attitude of the woman towards the other client, which has been condemned by society in general. Social networks have echoed the situation and have publicly denounced the racist behavior of the aggressor, which has generated great outrage in society.

The reaction of the cafeteria customers was generally rejection and condemnation of the woman’s behavior. Several people sympathized with the victim and offered her support, while others tried to calm the attacker down. Despite this, the incident created a tense and unpleasant situation for everyone present.

The video of the incident was shared on social networks and has generated great outrage in society.
