“Whoever says I’m leaving after six months is lying”

The candidate of Canarian Coalition (CC) to the Mayor of Arafo, Juan Ramón Martín, assured “absolutely” during the presentation of the electoral list that “we have a project for the next four years, and whoever says that I am leaving after six months, lies. I tell them loud and clear that I will be here for the next four years, I am not leaving.

Martín highlighted that, currently, «Arafo has overcome the worst economic moments, managing to pay off the debt that suffocated us two years ahead of schedule. Thanks to this management, we have a healthy City Council and we can face a future full of hope”.

In this regard, he stressed that “We have no ideas, we have projects, very advanced plans in culture, sports, sanitation… and they will be true when Fernando Clavijo be President of the Government of the Canary Islands and Rosa Dávila, president of the Cabildo de Tenerife».

Juan Ramón Martín highlighted that «We have a very prepared, trained and qualified team to enter to govern from minute one. And, something very important, we are proud of Arafo, of being from our people.

He advanced that among his objectives is to develop a rehabilitation plan for the streets of the town, continue to promote Social Services and resolve the collapse of the entrance to the municipality and the industrial estate. “We need an urgent solution, we cannot wait another minute,” he asserted.

In its program, CC includes immediate actions such as Sanitation works for Playa de Lima, rainwater and asphalt paving works for El Carmen, remodeling of the El Pino leisure and craft center, direct aid to ranchers and farmers and a plan to improve rural roads. To this is added “the construction of the covered sports center and the ring road in the CEO Andrés Orozco and the new Library, the Youth House and the study room.”
