Two injured, one seriously, in two scooter accidents in Tenerife in the last hours



A 48-year-old man has been seriously injured in the south of Tenerife when his scooter collided with a parked car.

The 1-1-2 emergency coordination center has reported that the driver of the scooter, a 48-year-old man, suffered severe multiple injuries and was transferred in a sanitary ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.

The accident occurred at 11:50 p.m. on Friday on Tinguaro street, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.

A few hours later, at 05:43 this Saturday, there was another accident related to a scooter in Tenerife, in this case on Avenida de la Constitución in the capital of the island.

The victim was a 32-year-old woman, who suffered a fall with her scooter and was injured with polycontusions and moderate facial trauma. She was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.

Another person was involved in the accident who did not require medical assistance.
