the campaign for shops and restaurants in Tenerife begins



The Council of Tenerife has launched a campaign consumer bonds aimed at boosting sales in all shops and hospitality and service businesses on the island, through discounts For your customers.

Establishments that wish to participate can register from this Tuesday until June 11, the last day of the campaign, through the website bonotenerife.esreports the island corporation in a statement.

Each voucher will have a value of 20 euros, of which the Cabildo de Tenerife will cover 50% of its value, while the other half will be paid for by the consumer.

Next Monday, May 8, the period for consumers to purchase their vouchers will begin.

The total budget allocated to this initiative, in which the Government of the Canary Islands also participates and which will be managed by the Insular Foundation, for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), amounts to 375,000 euros.

Consumption voucher conditions

The maximum number of vouchers that the same person can use in an establishment is two, so that the amount of the purchase receipt or invoice is equal to or greater than the voucher.

These vouchers may not be used, in any case, in the acquisition of tobacco or electronic cigarettes, lotteries and/or bets, mobile phone recharges, cards or PINs for Internet purchases, alcoholic beverages or gift cards, subscriptions to online platforms or other related products.

Nor will there be the possibility of returning cash, neither in the purchase nor in the return of the product.

The insular Councilor for Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, has encouraged this Tuesday the island’s establishments to join this initiative that, in addition to promoting commercial activity, represents “an important claim” to expand and retain clientele.
