Tenerife Libby’s La Laguna won the third match of the Iberdrola League final at the tie-breaker (3-2) situating the tie against Hidramar Gran Canaria in a 2-1 that forces a fourth game to be played, which will take place tomorrow Monday at 12:00 pm at Pablos Abril de Taco.
The blue and white team asserted its local status from the first set of the match and it is that despite the enormous equality (23-22), a final boost with two great blocks from Nsunguimina and Wolowics gave Haris 1-0.
During a good part of the second set, both teams maintained the tug of war (15-15), although, in the final stretch of the set, the team from Tenerife made a gear change that allowed them to take the game by a comfortable 25-17.
In the next set, Hidramar woke up and soon dominated the score (9-14) and although the local team tried to tie the victory (17-18), the team from Gran Canaria prevailed in the third set with points from Saray Manzano and Laura Suarez (18-25).
The yellow box was very close to the league title, especially in terms of sensations, since they prevailed very forcefully in the fourth round (14-25).
However, Juan Diego García’s group showed courage and in the final set took the reins (15-10).
With this result, the tie is 2-1 that will be clarified tomorrow Monday at 12:00 at Pablos Abril de Taco.
