The Save La Tejita Ecologist Association announced yesterday that it will defend today and tomorrow in Brussels the petition to paralyze the hotel project of Cradle of the Soulin the municipality of adejepresented before the Committee on Petitions of the European Union.
A delegation from this organization will challenge the European body to intervene in the alleged irregularities committed in this controversial project. The environmental group confirmed that it has already arranged an agenda of meetings with different MEPs and with representatives of the Environment Committee of the European Parliament.
THREE DIRECTIVES
According to the documentation provided by the environmental association, at least three directives are being violated: one on the evaluation of the repercussions of certain plans and programs on the environment, another on the evaluation of the repercussions of certain public and private projects on the environment and a third related to the conservation of natural habitats and wild fauna and flora.
