This Saturday, April 22, the Plaza de El Médano will be the scene of a solidarity event organized by Solidarios Canarios, a non-profit association that works in the development of educational and health projects on the African continent.

The event will be divided into two blocks. During the morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the “Children’s Morning” will take place, with a series of children’s activities that include, among many others, bouncy castles, the live broadcast of Radio Rumbero, face painting, solidarity haircuts, craft workshops and children’s characters. The objective is to offer a space for entertainment and fun for the little ones.

In the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., a music festival will be held with the participation of up to 9 groups and soloists who have decided to collaborate with this beautiful action that since 2019 floods the streets of El Médano with solidarity. .

During the festival, attendees will be able to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles and learn more about the work done by the NGO.

Both the participation of the musical groups, as well as the companies responsible for sound assembly, electrical installations and the development of the security plan are disinterested in support of the association.

All funds raised during the event will go to educational and health projects that SolidariosCanarios is currently developing in Gambiaincluding the construction of a small hospital and a school, which already serves more than 250 children in that country.

The organization invites the community to join this initiative and contribute their grain of sand to improve the quality of life of those who need it most.

For more information about the event and the SolidariosCanarios association, you can visit the Facebook page of the association.
