The parish priest of Gracia, Norberto Hernández, has denounced the disappearance of Ash, the cat that has lived in the parish of this lagoon neighborhood for a year and a half and is cared for by all the parishioners and who apparently was taken away last Friday afternoon, during mass. “A couple entered the car and took it, without saying anything, and we wanted to ask that it be returned,” he said. From the parish they have made some posters requesting his return, and ask that if anyone sees the cat they call 659173896 or 616667061.
Ash It gets its name from its gray color and because it appeared in the area “just when the La Palma volcano erupted,” explains the parish priest. “At first he was ignored but since he came repeatedly, we began to feed him and we took care of him among all those in the parish and we took him to the vet. And here he settled, and he lived his life in the parish compound, not only outside, but also inside, ”he pointed out. In fact, “he lived here with me, he slept at home when he felt like it, especially on cold days, he waited for me to come in, he just needed to talk. And the days that he wanted to go out he stayed here and he was attended by all the parishioners. It is true that he does not have a chip, that it will be a matter of putting it on if he appears ”.
