SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Autonomous Committee of Citizens has unanimously approved the appointment of Vicky Fumero as number two in the electoral candidacy headed by Enrique Arriaga for the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council.
“Santa Cruz has been in decline for years, the management of the Canary Coalition has led us to stagnation that we have to overcome,” said Vicky Fumero.
“From Ciudadanos we have come to change things, we want to implement renewed policies that reach all residents regardless of the district and neighborhood to which they belong,” said the candidate, who added that Arriaga’s proposals for the municipality “will contribute to recovering all the years of lost management”.
With a degree in History and a diploma in Primary Education Teaching, Fumero is also an active member of the Association in Defense of the Anaga Traffic Light, a group from Igueste de San Andrés that arises for the protection of the Punta Anaga Traffic Light.
“Politicians tend to disconnect from reality once they are immersed in the Administration, in Ciudadanos that does not happen. We are a new party made up of ordinary people who only want to improve the lives of our neighbors,” he confirmed.
“As a resident of Santa Cruz, I know what it means to want to protect our hallmarks, our customs, our spaces and our interests. For this reason, we intend to put citizens at the center of local policies, to promote projects that ensure their interests”, explained the Liberal candidate.
“I am sure that if the chicharreros decide to place their trust in us, we will not let them down. We have a very prepared team that is eager to work and a candidate for mayor, Enrique Arriaga, who will make Santa Cruz become once again in the capital of the Canary Islands”, ruled Fumero.
