The permanent committee of Ciudadanos has designated María Aránzazu Artal as a candidate for mayor of San Cristóbal de La Laguna in the municipal elections on May 28, the party reported.
The candidate is currently the director of the Innovation area of the Cabildo de Tenerife.
Artal has a degree in biology from the University of La Laguna, has a master’s degree in integrated management systems and is a superior technician in occupational risk prevention.
Part of his professional and scientific career has been developed in companies such as Loro Parque and Celgán.
The candidate from La Laguna collaborates with associations such as the Rotary Club and the Association of Business Women and Professionals BPW Canarias.
