The Santa Cruz City Council, through the Development Society, has organized nearly 150 activities for the weekend of Full Moon Santa Cruzwhich will start tomorrow. This was announced by the CEO of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “we will begin this Friday at 6:00 p.m. with the Craft Beer and World Festival, in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena, and the concerts in the Plaza de La Candelaria, and the activity will practically not cease until Sunday at 10:00 p.m.

In this sense, Cabello indicated that “we are facing one of the largest editions of Plenilunio, which also coincides with the beginning of the Consumer Bonds campaign and will have almost twenty locations throughout the city.” In turn, he added that “there will be activities from the García Sanabria park, with Le Good Market, to the esplanade of Anaga avenue; and from the Almeyda Historical and Military Museum to the Museum of Nature and Archeology, being able to enjoy activities at any point in the center of Santa Cruz”.

“As every year, the Plenilunio offer is designed for all ages -said Cabello-, with performances, concerts, workshops and markets aimed at a young and adult audience, as well as toy libraries, activities and children’s performances for the whole family” and specified that “we are waiting with great expectation for the concerts by Café Quijano and Revolver in the Plaza de la Candelaria, at 10:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday respectively, for which a large influx of people is expected ”.

“Another of the nuclei of Plenilunio in terms of music will be the esplanade of Anaga avenue, where, in addition to the performance of DJ Jonay and other members of The Rave Kulture label, various fairs and activities have been programmed,” he added. Likewise, he specified that “in this area will be located The Awakening of the Retro, a fair on retro consoles and cosplay; the Vinyl Fair, for lovers of vinyl records, and Urban Full Moon, with cross-country, training, parkour, BMX and skate activities”.

Likewise, Cabello commented, “very close to this point, in the alameda del Duque de Santa Elena, the Craft and World Beer Festival will take place with free admission, which will offer music, drinks and food throughout the weekend” and added that “in its exteriors, in the Plaza de España, the Atlantic Market and a children’s playroom will be placed.”

Regarding the activities designed for children, the mayor explained that “the Plaza del Príncipe and the Plaza del Chicharro will be the main spaces, with toy libraries, workshops and activities.” In addition, he added that “the Casa del Carnaval will also open Saturday and Sunday, with craft workshops for the little ones, guided tours and a food truck, while in the Bulevar park there will be scientific workshops, although in this case they are designed for a more youth”.
