He Santa Cruz City Hall, through the Development Society, will open the sale and exchange period for Santa Cruz Consumption Bonds this Friday, March 31, at 8:00 a.m. This was reported by the CEO of the Development Company, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “the bonds can be used until November 15, they will be available through the website www.bonoconsumosantacruz.com and companies that have not yet registered will be able to do so during this period”.
Likewise, Cabello has commented that “this year the rate of adherence of businesses is being much higher compared to the last edition, going from 7 to 21 daily registrations on average” and specified that “we currently have 304 commercial establishments adhered to the campaign of Santa Cruz Consumer Bonds, a sign that the initiative has already been consolidated in the municipality”.
In this sense, the mayor mentioned that “we have made the start of the Consumer Bonds coincide with the Full Moon weekend, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of the campaign in its first days” and added that “in this way, the businessmen will be able to benefit from the high influx of people and customers will have a greater number of open establishments at their disposal”.
Regarding the types of vouchers, Cabello recalled that “on this occasion, each voucher has a value of 25 euros for the Commerce modality, 25 euros for the Catering modality and 50 euros for the Accommodation modality” and added that “having Taking into account that the City Council finances 40% of that amount, people will only pay 15 euros for the Trade Bonus, 15 euros for the Restoration Bonus and 30 euros for the Accommodation Bonus”.

Cabello also pointed out that “during the first phase of the project, the Trade Bonds will be subject to district restrictions, that is, they can only be used in those districts for which they have been specifically purchased; a measure designed so that the financing of the project reaches all the neighborhoods of Santa Cruz” and added that “as in previous editions, each establishment will have a billing limit, which in this case will be displayed updated on the page Web”.
“This third edition is preceded by the success of the previous one,” said the mayor, “which in its first week sold out 83% of the available vouchers and once the campaign was over, it managed to exhaust 100%” and added that “in that second edition, more than 400 companies and more than 6,400 buyers benefited from the initiative”.
In this way, Cabello assured that “the Santa Cruz Consumer Bonds campaign seeks to promote the acquisition of goods and services and support SMEs in the municipality” and added that “it is an initiative of economic revitalization that was pioneering in its first edition and that it has been consolidated as an element of support for the business fabric during the months of lower consumption”.
