The Prosecutor asks a year and a half in prison for each of the three defendants attempting to kidnap a minor Saint Ursula, Tenerifewho will sit on the bench of the Provincial Court next week.
The facts they took place at five in the afternoon of April 16, 2014, when the defendants went to a hardware store located in Santa Úrsula, two of them walking and another in a vehicle, as stated in the qualification document.
At that point they met a minor whom they forced to accompany them, after one of them told another “take her, take her”, at which time the first crossed over to where the young woman was.
Meanwhile, the one in the car skidded alongside the girl, turning the vehicle and stopping it abruptly before getting out of it and running towards her.
The minor, to avoid being put into the vehicle, began to run towards the hardware store, where she took refuge, for which one of the defendants yelled at her: “You escaped us, bitch”, all this while another of the defendants watched the street to try that no one thwarted the arrest.
Not being able to fulfill their plan, the three men got into the car and hurriedly left the place.
The Prosecutor’s Office considers that it is before a alleged crime of illegal detention in the degree of attempt and therefore proposes the aforementioned penalties.
