The Civil Guard detains two men for driving a stolen motorcycle with a false license plate in Tenerife



Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Main Post of Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife) have arrested two men aged 40 and 47, both residents of the municipality of Arona, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of vehicle theft and another of document falsification.

The criminal acts were clarified when the Civil Guard agents, who were carrying out citizen security prevention services, observed how a motorcycle that was traveling with two people, upon noticing the presence of the agents, carried out various strange maneuvers that raised the suspicions of the agents, which is why they proceeded to stop them.

At first, the driver of the motorcycle ignored the signals from the agents, although the agents later managed to get them to stop the march. Once they were both identified, the necessary checks were made regarding the motorcycle, being able to verify not only that it was recorded as stolen, but that the license plate it carried was false, which is why both were arrested as alleged perpetrators. of the two crimes.

The detainees, along with the proceedings, have been forwarded to the Investigating Court of Granadilla de Abona.
