Radazul Bajo opens four roundabouts to improve traffic flow

Radazul Bajo, in El Rosario, opens four roundabouts with which to try to improve traffic flow. This was reported this Friday by the City Council in a press release, in which it also indicated that circulation returns to normal with the authorization of the two-way street on Juan Sebastián Elcano and Valdés streets, which have remained in one direction for months ( descending the first and ascending the second) to be able to carry out the work of reform of the hydraulic network of the municipality.

“With the opening to traffic of both lanes on the two streets Four roundabouts are also enabled to improve traffic flow and road safety in certain turns and entrances or exits from streets », picks up the note. “In addition, with them it is possible for drivers to change the direction of travel without having to go to the end of the roads on which they circulate, generating a more fluid flow of traffic and reducing the speed of passage,” he adds. .

Specifically, the four roundabouts are located at the junction of Juan Sebastián Elcano street with Magallanes street, with Valdés and with the Guadamojete park, as well as at the intersection of Valdés street with Antequera street, the Consistory specifies.

The mayor of The rosary, Escolástico Gil, who these days has been supervising the road signage work together with the Local Police and the director of the Radazul Bajo work, explains that “with the new signage we gain in safety, especially when drivers join Juan Sebastián Elcano or Valdés from some streets; as well as in the turn to the left to access the residential area in front of the Guadamojete park, which is on a curve”. The first mayor clarifies that “With this signage, this important investment of two million euros that has brought the services of Radazul Bajo to the level it deserves is practically completed.although work will still be carried out in the so-called auction phase, which consists of small repairs to facades or sidewalk grouting.
