Until Sunday, users of the tourist information offices will receive an in vitro banana plant produced by the company Cultivos y Tecnología Agraria de Tenerife SA (Cultesa), based in the municipality, or delicious handmade natural jams manufactured in Chío by Delicias del Sol, with fruits grown in local fields.
This year’s World Tourism Day was celebrated under ehe slogan Tourism for inclusive growth, with the aim of “restarting the activity”, that is, to open the way for its recovery, generating growth and opportunities for all, after the halt brought about by the pandemic of the covid-19.
For this reason, and through the delivery of these gifts, the Guia de Isora Department of Tourism wants to thank the travelers for their visit to Guía de Isora after the hard times they have experienced, also highlighting the local product.
This promotional action, which takes place between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until stocks last, is part of Guía de Isora’s commitment to positioning itself even more as an avant-garde and sustainable destination. A territory with “natural character” in which “respect for the conservation of natural resources and the sociocultural environment prevails, as well as the commitment to agriculture, local gastronomy and products called kilometer zero”, says the municipal government.
