The General Director of Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands, Laura Fuentes, has presented this Thursday in La Laguna (Tenerife) the new website ‘Consexus’, an online tool with all the necessary information for young people in terms of sexual education and prevention of sexual violence .
According to Fuentes, this website “is focused on young people but also on families, teams of teachers and professionals who work with youth, in order to provide tools and training to prevent all types of sexist, sexual or lgtbiphobic violence. , and respond to doubts and questions that allow us to be comfortable with our bodies and our sexuality and avoid taboos and mental health problems linked to the experience of sexuality”.
This project arises from the need to offer educational alternatives for young people who seek information on sexual content through the Internet, offering safe, dignified and public content aimed at our young people and adolescents, in order to eradicate inappropriate content loaded with messages. violent, sexist and lgtbiphobic, collects a note from the Government of the Canary Islands.
