Marco Antonio Navarro Tacoronte, the person who gives his name to the mediator case, has attended the plenary hall of the Council of Tenerife, where this wednesday is celebrated an extraordinary plenary session requested by the CC-PNC Group.
In this plenary session, the Island Councilor for Education, Youth, Museums and Sports, Concepción María Rivero, will appear to explain the reasons for the dismissal of the Insular Director of Sports, Angel Luis Perez Penaas well as on the performance of their functions from the date of their appointment (September 15, 2021) until the date of termination (January 31, 2023).
Pérez, investigated for false denunciation
Perez Pena took Navarro Tacoronte to court for alleged fraud but his complaint was dismissed and he ended up being investigated for a crime of false complaint.
To defend himself against the accusation of Pérez Peña, Navarro provided messages that would dismantle his accusation, as well as the graphic and sound material that he had mobile phones and a hard drive and that constitutes the basis of the judicial investigation of the so-called Mediator case.
