He helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands has rescued this Sunday to a 59-year-old woman who suffered general malaise and fatigue when he was taking a tour of the Teide National Parkin Tenerifereported the Emergency and Rescue Coordination Center.
The emergency services went to the place after receiving a notice that a group of hikers, who were in the vicinity of the refuge, were requesting help for one of them who began to present a general malaise.
The GES helicopter traveled to the area, which was in charge of the evacuation of the woman with discomfort, in addition to firefighters who accompanied the rest of the group to Montaña Blanca to get to where the vehicles had left.
The victim rescued by the GES was evacuated by aircraft to the La Guancha helipad, where personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were waiting for her, who assisted her before being transferred by ambulance to the Hospital del Norte de Tenerife. Likewise, cable car personnel collaborated in the device.
