SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 71-year-old woman of Italian nationality has been seriously injured after being run over on Rafael Puig Lluvina avenue in the municipality of Adeje (Tenerife), as reported this Sunday by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1- 1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
At around 6:24 p.m., the emergency services received an alert reporting the run-over of a pedestrian at the aforementioned address.
The personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) transferred a medicalized ambulance and assessed the affected person, who presented a serious head injury and, after providing assistance and stabilizing her, took charge of her transfer to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
The Local Police instructed the corresponding proceedings.
