The Cabildo de Tenerife anticipates that the reform of the Paseo de Las Caletillas will be completed in the summer

The Council of Tenerife has foreseen that reform of the Paseo de Las Caletillas, in candlemasbe finished this summerbeing an intervention that will contribute to revitalize and revitalize the coastal promenade of the municipality, as reported by the insular Institution

In this way, the insular president, Peter Martinhas visited the development of these works and has stressed that “the Cabildo de Tenerife, hand in hand with the municipalities, is in an effort to recover our coast”.

“We have more than 43 actions throughout the island and here, in Candelaria, in Las Caletillas, we have a special work underway, it is about opening the sea to the population so that they can enjoy free spaces, landscaped areas with viewpoints and access to the beaches where they can bathe,” said

He also recalled that this effort by the insular institution to regenerate maritime spaces could only be carried out “hand in hand with the municipalities.”

Meanwhile, he assured that the intention is “to continue investing in the near future in other projects that are already underway”, finally adding that “this will soon be a reality”.

For her part, the mayoress of the town of Candelaria, Mari Brito, indicated that “we have been working intensely for years together with the supra-municipal administrations and with the El Pueblito Neighborhood Association so that this project materializes and today it is already a reality, a reality that we know will improve not only the lives of the people who live in Candelaria but also the experience of all those who visit us.”

“We are just a few months away from completing this action and restoring a part of our coastline that we consider emblematic, gradually recovering its splendor and those public spaces that are so useful and necessary for our neighbors,” he concluded.
