SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resort has resumed the activity of all its establishments in Tenerife and will reopen the doors of Bahia Principe Sunlight on October 1 and of Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe on November 1, given the good sales prospects of the main markets Europeans.

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts thus continues to promote the gradual reopening plan in all the destinations in which it operates, safeguarding the health and well-being of guests and employees. Currently, it already has a total of 14 hotels open, five establishments in the Dominican Republic, four in Spain, three in Mexico and two in Jamaica.

In the words of Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, “making two more hotels in Tenerife available to our clients, in addition to three that we already have open and operating in Spain, brings us great joy, and is obviously a consequence of the positive evolution of the sector, and of the good performance of the sales of all the European markets, including the German and English, very important for this destination “.

“We are gradually witnessing a recovery in the tourism sector as a result of advances in vaccination, the relaxation of mobility restrictions, but above all because of people’s desire to travel. However, at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts we continue to work to guarantee a safe environment for our clients and employees, always complying with all health protocols “, he added.

The Bahia Principe Sunlight Tenerife hotel, located in the municipality of Adeje, in the southern part of the island, simulates the typical architecture of a Canarian town. This all-inclusive property offers guests a vacation experience in an exceptional setting due to its location on top of a cliff.

Similarly, the Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe hotel, located in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island, is situated in a unique enclave overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Both establishments offer multiple activities organized for children and adults, have a wide gastronomic offer, spa service and ultimately all the services to achieve an unforgettable experience for their clients.

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts in collaboration with HS Consulting, has adapted its standards to the new hygienic-sanitary needs produced by the pandemic in all its business units, in order to guarantee a safe environment and correct compliance with the regulations of each one of the countries and destinations where it operates, according to the WHO recommendations and the protocols of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) and the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, ICTE.
