Next Sunday a new edition of the triathlon event will be held “Ocean Lava TriSantaCruz Tenerife” which will mean a series of changes in traffic in Santa Cruz to ensure the normal development of it.
The changes will focus both on certain parking prohibitions and on the modification of circulation to make the sporting event compatible with the usual Sunday activities in the city.
The areas affected by these measures will be practically the entire coastline of the capital of Tenerife from the vicinity of the town of San Andrés to Avenida Constitución; maritime Avenue; Francisco La Roche avenue; Anaga avenue; access to the North Dock; and the San Andrés highway (TF-11).
Changes in traffic in Santa Cruz must be enabled at 08:00 a.m., especially for the cycling circuit dispute. Specifically, while the test lasts, two-way traffic will be enabled for vehicles in the two lanes furthest from the seafront, making it possible to maintain communication with the enclaves of the Anaga district of the municipality.
The Local Police will be in charge of alternative itineraries to facilitate the passage of vehicles and the development of this competition.
Previously, and from 00:00 hours on Sunday itself, the parking lots on the edge closest to the sea of Francisco la Roche avenue will be suppressed; also on Anaga avenue; parking lots near the so-called Acapulco de Valleseco beach; parking lots next to the old Cidemat; and at the confluence of the entrance to the María Jiménez neighborhood, Andrés Vidal “Africuya” street.
