The Minister of Tourism, Raúl Camacho, stressed that it is an international market that is essential for the recovery of La Palma; for this reason, together with technical personnel and the business sector, it will participate in the conferences and meetings with tour operators and airlines that will be held within the framework of the fair.
“This fair, which is among the three largest worldwide, will be key for La Palma to continue positioning itself as an exemplary tourist destination linked to the tourism promotion plan approved by the Sectoral Council last December. Convinced that it will be a fruitful fair and that the connections with La Palma for next winter will be increased”, points out Raúl Camacho.
The island councilor pointed out that, in addition, the Tourism Service continues to work with tour operators and airlines to establish a collaboration for this 2023 and define the lines of action to develop campaigns to promote the destination of this market.
Camacho wanted to recall the importance of these actions, “since the German market is the main international issuing niche for La Palma and the flag carriers of the German country continue to bet on the Isla Bonita with their connections,” he explained.
Since 1966, the ITB Berlin has been the cradle, the engine of innovation and the leading platform of the tourism industry and thus the leading trade fair for the global travel industry.
During the three days that the fair lasts, Turismo de La Palma will maintain an intense agenda of meetings with the main airlines with a view to consolidating agreements and continuing the work already begun in previous fairs such as Fitur.
