The Carnival of Los Gigantes chooses its queen on Friday among five applicants

The Carnival of Los Gigantes will choose its adult queen among five applicants. It will do so during the gala that will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, the 3rd, in Plaza Buganvilla. Focused on the world of musicals, these parties will take place until Saturday of next week, the 11th.

They will parade across the stage Yurena Pérez Pérez, who will wear a design by Eduardo Martín and who will be sponsored by the Hotel Royal Sun; Eleonora Bevilacqua, who will wear a dress created by the designer Alfonso Baute and Ferretería Tamaimo as sponsor; Ainhoa ​​Pérez Socas will walk the catwalk with the fantasy created by the designer Leo Martínez and sponsored by Isla de El Valle; Eliana Tejera Pérez, who will wear a design by Creaciones de La Rosa and whose sponsors are Puerto Deportivo de Los Gigantes and Excavaciones y Construcciones Montesdeoca, and, finally, the young Nayara Cubas Guerra, who will wear a fantasy by Fran Yanes, with the sponsorship of Verde’s Los Gigantes and Real State Agency.

The gala for the election of the adult queen of Carnival the world of musicals will feature performances by the Comparsa Joroperos, Laura Lou, the Epsylon ballet, the singer Miriam Reyes and Argel Campos, reserving the special performance for the singer Henry Méndez. The presentation will be in charge of Wendy Fuentes.

Children’s and family activities, festivals, galas and parades begin tomorrow, with the queen’s election gala. On Saturday the Ludoparque Carnavalero will be enabledat 11:00 a.m., and the great children’s cross will leave at 12:00. The children’s queen election gala will begin at 5:30 p.m., with musical and choreographic performances, as well as the show baby two plus two. That night, at 10:00 p.m., it will begin the Great Night of Carnival, a festival that will be entertained by the Malibú Band, Grupo La Calle, Corinto Band and Latin Sound. Within this framework is the celebration of the costume contest with the election of the best male and female individual, in pairs and between smaller and larger groups of six components. The week will end with the big arena, scheduled for five in the afternoon on Sunday.

The programming of the Carnival of Los Gigantes will continue with the exhibition of costumes of the participating queens, to inaugurate on Monday; the Carnival for the elderly, on Tuesday; the Drag Queen gala for Diversity and Artistic Equality (9:00 p.m. on Wednesday); the wake (7:00 p.m.) and Burial of the Sardine (9:00 p.m.), on Friday, and will end on Saturday with a parade (11:00 a.m.), a fancy dress parade (12:00 p.m.) and eight performances, which will be opened by Pepe Benavente (4:00 p.m.) and which will include King Africa, DJs and orchestras.
