The Parliament of the Canary Islands hosts this Tuesday, starting at 11:30 a.m., the last ‘Debate on the State of Nationality’ of the Legislature in which the president of the regional Government, Ángel Víctor Torres, will review his almost four years at the head of the Executive at a time when his management is affected by the ‘Mediator case’.
Torres will open the session with a speech lasting about two hours, and after the break, and already in the afternoon, he will be examined by the opposition groups.
Thus, the spokesmen for the Nationalist and Popular Groups, José Miguel Barragán and Manuel Domínguez, respectively, will have forty minutes to establish a position, while the Mixed Group will be divided into 20 minutes for Vidina Espino and another twenty minutes for the Citizens deputy. (Cs) Ricardo Fernandez.
The president may respond individually for 10 minutes or jointly for 20 minutes, and the spokespersons will reply for 10 minutes, five in the case of the Mixed Group, with a subsequent closure by the president for ten minutes, if he opts for an individual response. , or 20 minutes if you do it together.
The debate will resume on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. with the turn of the groups that support the Executive –PSOE, NC, Sí Podemos and ASG– and with the same conditions and times as on the previous day.
Already on Thursday, also starting at 09:00, the last day will be held with the debate on proposed resolutions with a single turn to speak for the seven groups and for a time of 30 minutes, which in the case of the Mixed Group will be divided in two 15-minute shifts for Espino and Fernández de la Puente.
