The Cabildo de Tenerife has observed a minute of silence this Friday as a sign of rejection of the war in Ukraine one year after it began.
The insular president, Pedro Martín, presided over this event, held at the gates of the insular Palace, in solidarity with Ukraine, with the victims of this war and with the millions of displaced persons it has caused.

With this act, the Cabildo joins the call of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities (FEMP) to hold rallies in solidarity with Ukraine on the first anniversary of the war.
