SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Between last year and this year, Visocan invests a total of 17.3 million in improving the energy efficiency of 3,705 homes in its public park, both in the field of passive efficiency, through envelopes and in the holes in the façade, as well as in the active one, with improvements in the facilities and in energy matters.
Added to this are various actions in the field of accessibility, with interventions for improvement, renovation and new installations in lifts, access ramps and porters, among other actions.
In addition, security will be improved, through the renewal of Signage and other emergency elements, the company details in a note.
These lines of action, within which energy efficiency and accessibility are framed, have an estimated budget of 30.06 million euros and are contemplated in the Visocan Housing Plan 2020-2023.
These works continue the work carried out in the basic rehabilitation plan for the maintenance and conservation of 3,468 homes in the park of the public company of the Government of the Canary Islands, which began in 2018.
The actions linked to the rehabilitation and improvement of these buildings will promote the creation of almost 26,000 jobs during their development.
Thus, the rehabilitation of 5,700 homes, of the more than 6,000 public homes that make up the Visocan park, together with the construction of new buildings, have the potential to create 26,000 direct, indirect and induced jobs.
