Florin Andone scored his first goal with UD Las Palmas in his second start, at El Toralín, precisely against the next yellow rival (Sunday, 5:30 pm), SD Ponferradina. It was on matchday 11 and since then he has only seen the goal one more time, in the derby against CD Tenerife. Arrived on the last day of the summer market, today he is the fourth forward for García Pimienta and his role is superfluous.

The rarity of his arrival was not given because it happened on the brink of closure, something common in all clubs, but because a player who had only participated in 18 games was going to join the ranks of a team called to fight for promotion in the previous three seasons, six in the last two. Somehow, he was looking for a new boost to his career in the yellow team, however, he never had his place. Today, in addition, he is the fourth forward and his role is less and less.
Arriving at UD at the hands of Deivid, with whom he had coincided at Córdoba CF as a player of today’s member of the sports management, it seemed that he could work out just in his second title, in El Toralín, precisely against the next rival from Las Palmas –Sunday, 5:30 p.m.–. After the muscle mishap he started at the Ciudad de Valencia and six days later, in the derby against CD Tenerife, he saw the goal again: he scored 3-0 on a counterattack –In the image that illustrates this report, he celebrates the goal – with which the UD definitively liquidated the blue and white team, which would later score the goal of honour.
A week later Andone started at El Molinón in the yellow victory and never started again. It was December 4, 2022. Since then his participation has been testimonial and even he was left without playing a single minute in Ibiza and in the last two commitments. With Marc and Sandro available, plus the addition of Loren, he is destined to have a superfluous role. This has been demonstrated by the technician. The club, although he later denied it, opened the door for him in the winter market, but the player did not want to leave. He is happy on the Island, but he is forgotten.
