The rains and calima continue this Wednesday in the Canary Islands

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) announces for this Wednesday lweak and occasional rains in the north of the islands of greater relief, light haze, temperatures with few changes and possible frosts in high areas of Tenerife and The Palmas well as a northeasterly wind with strong intervals.

According to the prediction, the strong wind intervalsThey are expected on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands, while breezes will predominate on the southwest coasts of the mountainous islands.

Regarding the state of the sea, it announces a northeasterly wind of force 4 or 5 and locally 6, swell to strong swell, and variable force 1 to 3 on the southwest coasts.

There will be swell from the northwest with 1 meter waves increasing to 1 to 2 meters on the western islands and occasional downpours.

Tenerife

In the north, predominance of cloudy skies with occasional light rains. In the rest of the areas, little cloudy or clear with intervals of evolution in the west. Light haze. Temperatures with few changes, forecasting weak frosts in high areas. Occasionally strong northeast wind on the southeast slope and extreme northwest in the afternoon, prevailing breezes on the west coast.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (ºC): Santa Cruz de Tenerife 17 22

La Gomera

In the north, predominance of cloudy skies with occasional light rains. In the rest of the areas, little cloudy. Light haze. Little changed temperatures. Wind from the northeast, more intense on the southeast and northwest slopes, and with a predominance of the breeze regime on the southwest coasts.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (ºC): San Sebastián de la Gomera 17 22

The Palm

Cloudy intervals with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north and east, where light rains are expected. Light haze. Temperatures with few changes, forecasting weak frosts in high areas. Northeast wind, more intense on the southeast and northwest slopes, and with a predominance of breezes on the west coasts.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (ºC): Santa Cruz de la Palma 16 21

The iron

In the north, predominance of cloudy skies with occasional light rains. In the rest of the areas, slightly cloudy or clear with intervals of evolution. Light haze. Little changed temperatures. Wind from the northeast, more intense on the southeast coasts and in the extreme northwest, and with a predominance of breezes on the west coasts.

Lanzarote

Cloudy intervals with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north. Light haze. Little changed temperatures. Occasionally strong northeasterly wind.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (ºC): Reef 16 21

Fuerteventura

Cloudy intervals with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north. Light haze. Little changed temperatures. Occasionally strong northeasterly wind.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (ºC): Port of Rosario 16 21

Gran Canaria

In the north, predominance of cloudy skies with occasional light rains. In the rest of the areas, slightly cloudy or clear with intervals of evolution. Light haze. Little changed temperatures. Occasionally strong northeasterly wind on the southeast and northwest slopes in the afternoon, and with a predominance of breezes on the southwest coasts.
