Enrique Arriaga, candidate of Ciudadanos as a candidate for the Mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The Local Assembly of citizens of Santa Cruz de Tenerife proposes to Enrique Arriaga as a candidate for mayor of the municipality. His candidacy has obtained unanimity in the Assembly and must now be ratified by the Autonomous Committee.

“I am grateful for the trust that the affiliates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have placed in me. From Ciudadanos we have a lot to offer citizens to start up Santa Cruz and restore the splendor it has lost in recent years. A political project with many challenges and very exciting that it lives up to what the municipality of the capital needs,” says Arriaga.

Likewise, he explains that “the city has seen itself in decline due to the lack of drive and leadership of those who have governed it in the last 45 years and needs a change that can drive it towards progress. I am here to work for and for the chicharreros and, thus, return to Santa Cruz the place that has always characterized it and that for several years seems to have faded”.

“As the capital of Tenerife, it is essential that it lead progress. I have many projects and many ideas that can make Santa Cruz the city that all chicharreros deserve. I want to put an end to servility, I want to put an end to immobility, with my candidacy I offer the opportunity to shine again”, affirms the liberal leader.

Even so, Arriaga acknowledges that “it is clear that there are no magic formulas that allow us to regain leadership, just work, work and work. I can offer a lot of this, which is why I take a step forward and decisively lead the list of the City Council of Santa Cruz with the support of my party”.
