The Candelariero municipality begins the Asphalting Plan with 15 streets

The streets of the municipality that welcomes the Patron of Canary Islands that will be paved in order of performance will be: Nivaria, Andrés Tejera Reyes, Padre Jesús Mendoza, Víctor Rodríguez Cruz, El Pozo, Juan El Cape Pescador, Los Fariña, Frailes Dominicos, José Galván Bello, Barranquillo Hondo, El Madroño, Estrelitzia, Guanches of the Virgin of Candelaria, El Guarrajo and La Rana.

In this regard, the Councilor for Works and Services, Jorge Baute, points out that the Candelariero Consistory is pending the delivery of the asphalt planning for the second batch of this first plan in the coming days, which includes the following roads: Camino El Lomo and streets La Morrita, Arenitas, Mencey Beneharo, Mencey Pelinor, La Goleta and Mencey Añaterve for a total amount of 292,128 euros. With all this, the total investment of the First Asphalting Plan will amount to €1,163,914.

Second phase already approved

To all this, we must add the second phase of the Asphalting Plan, which was approved in the plenary session of November 2022, for an amount of more than 2,700,000 euros, for which fifty roads will be pavedand on which work is being done in the drafting of the execution project, and in the mandatory reports, in order to start the tender.

The company awarded the lot that already has the planning has made a forecast of dates for the execution of the works, which are subject to changes in response to the needs that arise in the works, issues that will be informed promptly. The asphalting works will be carried out mostly in the morningwith the exception of Frailes Dominicos and José Galván Bello streets, which will take place at night so as not to affect the entrances and exits of CEIP Príncipe Felipe and IES Santa Ana.
