The second week of February will be even more wintry than the one that has just ended, with a drop in temperatures and snow at low levels even in the east of the peninsula. The rainfall, according to Mario Picazo’s forecast in tiempo.es, they will arrive with two storms“one that surrounds the Mediterranean and that will provide sufficient moisture to areas of the east and center of the peninsula, and another that will form near the southwest of the peninsula and will affect that quadrant above all.” In the case of the Canary Islands, says the meteorologist, there will also be intermittent rainfall throughout the week.

Starting this Monday, many thermometers will drop a few degrees with the continental air mass that is filtering in from the northeast. Even in the Canary Islands, Picazo advances, some cold air is expected to arrive to leave temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees in many areas and snowfall on the summits of islands such as La Palma or Tenerife.
