SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, Yaiza Castilla, opens this Monday at 9:30 am at the Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz the II Marine Tourism Forum, organized within the framework of the Ecoáreas Mardetodos project.
This forum will analyze the tourist potential of the artisanal fishing of the Islands and will bring together brotherhoods, cooperatives and professionals from the fishing sector with tour operators and experts in products related to tourism, fishing and the sea.
In addition to the talks, presentations of inspiring experiences and work tables by representatives of both sectors of the Canary Islands and, from different points of the country’s coast, within this meeting there will be an exhibition called ‘La Mar y el Arte’ (open to the general public) and the book ‘Historical and traditional boats of the Canary Islands will be presented. Shipbuilding and Carpentry of Ribera de las Islas’.
