The Councilor for Education of Los Realejos, Carmen Rosa Pérez (PP), reports that this Friday has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife the call for aid to the transport of students of the municipality that has to study 2021-2022 outside the town due to not having a training offer for their corresponding specialty in Los Realejos. A game of 32,000 euros is allocated.
Interested parties who meet the requirements of the bases approved by this consistory have until October 18 to submit the corresponding applications. These must be completed in a specific form for this call for aid that will be provided at the Information and Citizen Service Point (PIAC) of the City Council.
These grants are born as an alternative to those offered by other administrations, since among their requirements is that of not having been a beneficiary of scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Science. They materialize with the acquisition of bus vouchers by the Los Realejos City Council, which are delivered to the students who are beneficiaries based on certain technical evaluation criteria.
The mayor of Los Realejos, Manuel Domínguez, points out that “this government team has fully trusted year after year in this initiative to support the Realejos student body and has been progressively increasing the budget allocated for this purpose, settling at 32,000 euros , departure according to the number of students in the town.
