He Millenary Dragon Tree of Icod de los Vinos today will be added to the International Day in the Fight against Cancer. It will do so by lighting up green, to show its support both for the people who have to fight with this disease and for their families.
During today’s day, two workers were in charge of placing in the Millennial Dragon of Icod the lights, which will come on in just a few minutes, when it gets dark.
It is common for the northern Consistory to join these shows of support. For example, illuminating the dragon tree in mauve (on the occasion of World Lupus Day) or red, for the National Organ and Tissue Donor Day.
