Thirteen girls aspire to become Children’s Queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 4 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Fairgrounds will host the Gala for the Election of the Children’s Queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife tomorrow, Sunday at 6:00 p.m., which will be led by the thirteen candidates who choose to become sovereign this year.

The Councilor for Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello, and the director of the show, Enrique Camacho, have announced various surprises on stage, as well as the joint participation of the children’s murgas, choreographic groups and the Tropicana Infantil and Joroperos Infantil comparsas.

The presenters will be Clementina, Sergio, Naisha, Daniela and Joel, who will evolve on stage with the theme of New York City, the central theme of Carnival this year, and will be in charge of giving way to what happen in the almost two hours of a show intended for the smallest of the house, but also designed for the whole family.

The appearance of the candidates for Children’s Queen this year is divided into three blocks, in which the choreographic group En Paralelo Danza will perform before presenting the first five applicants; For their part, the evolutions on stage of Loli Pérez will be the hosts of the second block that will present the following four girls with their fantasies, and to end the parade of the following four candidates, it will be preceded by the performance of Odali’s choreography.

The jury that will choose the Children’s Carnival Queen and her four Bridesmaids will be made up of Cristo Rodríguez Torres, fashion and leather clothing technician; Elena González Ramírez, designer and instructor of creative and fantasy crafts; Beatriz de la Rosa Galván, fashion designer; Pedro Mengíbar González, president of the Cultural Hall of the Carnival of Santa Cruz; Marta Rodríguez Díaz, journalist and presenter for Televisión Canaria; Noemí Marcelino Ortega, costume designer for the MQP show, and Alejandro Fuertes García, actor for Timaginas Teatro and theater teacher.

María Vidal Conesa, staff of the Autonomous Organization of Fiestas (OAFAR), will act as secretary, with voice but no vote, having Nicolás Quintana Plasencia as notary of the act designated by the Illustrious College of Notaries of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Televisión Canaria will broadcast this show live throughout the Canary Islands and the public will be able to participate in choosing their favorite candidate by sending an SMS to 922 111 111 with the word CHILD, space and the number of their favorite candidate.
