The Municipal Urban Planning Management has published the resolution by which the establishments that so request can extend the closing hours during the celebration of the Carnival in the street. Thus, a difference is made between the premises that are inside the carnival ring and those that are outside. Among the latter, the nightclubs considered as after hours stand out, which may extend their closing hours from six in the current morning to one in the afternoon, on a maximum number of five occasions. In discotheques that do not have this consideration, the closing will take place at 07:30. The bars and cafeterias in this area could close at 03:30 if they so requested.

As for the venues inside the ring, most of them extend their closing hours until five and six in the morning, coinciding with the time when the music on the street stops. It must be remembered that the City Council’s commitment is that on days with less influx of people, such as Carnival Fridays or Tuesdays, the music stops at five in the morning, while on Carnival Saturdays and Mondays, it will stop playing. at six in the morning, and always with sound limiters.

In any case, requests to extend closing hours will be authorized as long as they have the corresponding license, a maximum of five times.
