SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canary Islands Seismic Network operated by Involcan has detected a seismic swarm between the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria since midday this Friday with more than thirty earthquakes, all of low magnitude.
The quakes have a maximum magnitude of 2.6 and range from one to 46 kilometers deep.
Last Monday there were already two other earthquakes in the strip of the so-called Enmedio volcano of magnitude 3.4 with depths between 5 and 9 kilometers.
