The prevailing rain in Canary Islands over the past weekend, will subside appreciably over the next few daysaccording to the forecasts of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET)although for the next weekend there are chances that somewhat more intense showers will return, especially on the higher-altitude islands.
The weather will be cloudy in the north of the Western Islands, with light rains, which could pick up some intensity again, and in general, little cloudiness on the southern slopes of each one of the islands.
As for the temperatures during the week, they will suffer few changes and the thermometers will oscillate between 22 degrees maximum and 17 degrees minimum.
Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote
As for the province of the palmsthe weather forecast for this Monday indicates that there will be cloudy intervals in Lanzarote Y Fuerteventurawith light rain unlikely.
It will be cloudy in the north of Gran Canariawith light rains although subsiding, and little cloudiness in the other areas.
The temperatures will suffer few changes and the wind will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on the northwest and southeast slopes.
Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro
In the province of Santa Cruz of Tenerife, the wind will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on northwest and southeast slopes and occasional very strong gusts on the same slopes of the westernmost islands in the early hours of the morning, especially in La Gomera and in the El Paso area in The Palm.
