The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Citizen Participation and Diversity area, has announced the launch of an awareness campaign on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) that is planned to be developed within the framework of the celebration of Carnival 2023.

The CEO of the area, Nauzet Gugliotta, pointed out that it will aim to raise awareness among citizens and will be focused on the entire population, with special incidence among youth.

In line with previous editions, the messages will be issued through a public dissemination campaign to remind the population of the importance of using barrier methods or combined prevention in sexual relations so that they are safe and healthy.
