The Council of Tenerife officially began this Tuesday, January 17, 2023, the works of two long-awaited roundabouts that will improve safety and the flow of traffic at two key intersections in Santa Úrsula and La Victoria de Acentejo. The first vice-president of the Tenerife Council and insular councilor for Highways, Enrique Arriaga (Cs), said that this roundabout “will speed up one of the main access points to the municipality, through which an average of 3,530 vehicles circulate every day. An area where both pedestrians and vehicles attend, so road safety will also be increased. This action will take place around a large clearing located to the south of the TF-217, between the uphill and downhill lanes to the TF-5.

The work of the La Victoria roundabout started running in 2015, but it was paralyzed due to problems with the previous winning company.
