SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 9 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, has confessed this Monday “disconcerted” before the alleged murder of a woman at the hands of her ex-partner in her home in Armeñime (Adeje) that culminates a weekend of “tremendous news” after the murder of several women in Spain.

“One does not know what must be done to prevent this bestiality”, he stated in an interview with ‘Cadena Ser’ and collected by Europa Press in which he acknowledged that “it is good to say that any violent act that they suffer must be condemned women” but also that the political parties “have to be clear”, including “those who deny it” because “with the denial” they promote that “it can happen” this type of episodes.

According to Torres, male violence “is something that dwarfs us human beings, especially men, when I see that I am ashamed that someone is capable of doing that outrage.”
